Responsibilities
• Understand and align with Ecommerce business requirements and objectives.
• Engage continuously with internal and external stakeholders to assess data needs and gather requirements.
• Build reports and manage custom dimensions, metrics, segments, and events in Adobe Analytics.
• Develop detailed dashboards to deliver standardized reporting for on-site/mobile app features and campaign performance based on business objectives and KPIs.
• Identify connections between business operations and analytics to influence strategies and enhance customer experience on websites and apps.
• Manage tracking and reporting across marketing channels, including SEM, SEO, Display, Affiliate, Social Media, Email, providing key insights.
• Assist stakeholders with advanced reporting and manage ad-hoc requests.
• Complete data validation projects and build data pipelines to ensure high data accuracy and quality.
• Query large datasets within BigQuery to uncover insights.
• Collaborate closely with developers on the Implementation team to support data tracking based on current digital design and framework, and conduct QA to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Ensure high data quality within web analytics reporting for Adobe Analytics.
• Provide training and reporting support to internal stakeholders; enable other analysts to understand existing reporting and utilize data for their respective teams.
• Maintain clean documentation of existing and future analytics implementations in accordance with organizational standards.
• Work with the web analytics team to promote a culture of data-driven decision making across e-commerce.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
• Undergraduate or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 3 years of extensive, hands-on experience with implementing, debugging, and reporting in Analytics Tools, with integrations to other tools for both websites and native apps.
• Administrator level knowledge of Adobe Analytics.
• Proficiency in generating reports and building dashboards in Adobe, GA 360/4, Report Builder, Data Feeds, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including advanced lookups and pivot tables).
• Expertise with SQL; knowledge of LookerML is desirable.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery.
• Advanced knowledge of floodlight tags and third-party tags.
• Proficient in presenting and communicating.
• Experience in Ecommerce and Retail.
• Familiarity with Application/Web Development lifecycle, Agile methodology, and Atlassian products.
• Basic knowledge of website implementation framework.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, SQL, and CSS.
• Experience with data workflow tools such as Alteryx or KNIME is a plus.
Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical skills with a drive to understand the relationships between data and activities, draw conclusions, and use critical thinking to validate/verify output and troubleshoot data.
• Eager to learn new technology.
• Motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail; ability to multi-task and prioritize competing requests in a fast-paced environment while meeting all project deadlines and adhering to project management principles.
• Initiative to propose analyses and reports, focusing on continual optimization.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with other teams, collaborate, and actively contribute to the Web Analytics team, as well as work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas and recommendations clearly and effectively to key stakeholders in both written and verbal presentations.
Summary
