Responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
•College diploma or Equivalent Military Certification
•Capable of meeting physical demands of the job and anthropometrical size requirements for confined space
•Proficient communication, organization and prioritization skills
•Proven ability to perform well in a team environment with minimal supervision
•Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office applications
•Ability to obtain Driver's DZ License
•Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Canadian Firearms Restricted Possession and Acquisition License (PAL)
Preferred Qualifications:
•Previous LAV repair and maintenance experience with GDLS-C products
•Previous military experience in a Land Combat Arms unit as a maintainer
•Advanced computer skills to include MS office, DMIS / Oracle and ASAT
•High level of oral and written communication skills
•Ability to obtain/maintain valid passport
•Valid Driver's DZ License

Physical Demands Description:
Typical postures may include standing, sitting, squatting, kneeling, crouching, bending, lying down and reaching at working heights ranging from below floor level to overhead. Tasks required on the interior of the vehicle will require working in a vertical space of 105 to 135 cm and may involve sitting, crawling, crouching, stooping, bending, twisting, kneeling and/or lying down to access some areas, as some tasks require working in areas with space constraints. The worker may also be required to lay on a creeper to complete work under the vehicle. Vertical clearance under the vehicle is approximately 65 cm.
Sustainment ship floor employees are required to climb on/off vehicles, which may include climbing through roof hatches, rear openings, and/or the driver’s hatch. It is common for Assemblers/FSRs to complete many assembly tasks in the same area of the vehicle while maintaining static or similar postures for a period of time.
