Our client in Victoria, BC, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our Accounts Receivable (AR) functions during a vacation leave. This is a temporary position for approximately five weeks, until mid-April, with the possibility of extension. Position: Temporary Accounting Assistant
Location: Victoria, BC
Duration: 5 weeks, immediate start to Mid-April with possibility for extension
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (30 minutes unpaid break)
Pay Rate: $24.23/hour

Responsibilities
• Monitor bank accounts and post revenue transactions.
• Process tenant rent charges, payments, adjustments, and deposits.
• Prepare EFT/PAD payments and invoices; follow up on receivables.
• Post revenue and AR transactions, review receipts, and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
• Experience in accounts receivable or finance.
• Proficiency in Arcori and Microsoft GP (an asset).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
