Randstad is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Officer III to join a team of 12 in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Position: CAN - Service Officer
Shift: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday EST
Salary: $24.47/hour
Location: Toronto Hybrid (Wednesday in-office, location TBD)

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Daily monitoring and review of corporate action notifications from BNY Mellon vendors and FIS.
Performing thorough analysis of circulars/notifications and creating concise summaries for client notification.
Pulling holdings lists and forwarding notifications to administrators and managers.
Creating corporate action files and updating online logbooks.
Collecting and tabulating client instructions for corporate action events.
Sending reminder notices per SLA and responding to inquiries regarding US custody accounts.
Submitting accurate and timely client instruction tenders online.
Monitoring payment sheets, ensuring payments are balanced and paid within SLA, and adhering to US tax analysis.
Escalating problem issues to senior staff in a timely manner.
Communicating effectively with vendors, transfer agents, and companies to obtain information.
Assisting with payment of US custody income payments.
Tracking Class Action claims, reviewing claim forms, generating notices, initiating mailing to eligible clients, and investigating related inquiries.
Completing sundry duties and daily tasks within agreed-upon targets.
Qualifications
Must Have:
Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
Positive attitude, self-motivation, and strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Resourcefulness and experience in the securities industry.
Strong proficiency in Excel.
Fast learner with ability to grasp new concepts and execute efficiently.
Undergraduate degree or completion of the Canadian Securities Course or other related financial industry course.
Nice to Have:
Ability to write scripts.
Knowledge of IBM systems and FIS security industry systems.
