We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented SEO Analyst to join our client's thriving digital marketing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in boosting organic traffic to key product categories and enhancing the overall online visibility of the brand. As a Senior SEO Analyst, you will manage and execute SEO strategies that align with business goals and drive improvements across the brand's digital presence, while also supporting fellow SEO specialists.

This is a 12-month contract which requires the talent to work onsite at our client's office in Mississauga 3 days per week.

Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive keyword research to identify high-impact terms for assigned product categories, using keyword tools to discover content optimization and expansion opportunities.
• Ensure strategic keyword integration across product and category pages, optimizing metadata to enhance search engine rankings.
• Collaborate closely with the digital experience, marketing, and e-commerce teams to align SEO and content strategies with business objectives.
• Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, including broken links, duplicate content, indexing errors, and canonical issues. Enhance internal linking for improved website navigation and SEO performance.
• Develop and enforce SEO content standards and guidelines to ensure consistency across product descriptions, meta tags, and on-page elements.
• Stay informed about the latest SEO trends, ranking factors, and search engine algorithm updates. Analyze competitors and apply industry best practices to enhance our client’s online presence.
• Monitor and evaluate key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and CTRs. Analyze data to spot trends and opportunities for improvement. Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights and optimize strategies based on analytics tools.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of SEO experience, ideally within an e-commerce environment.
• Strong grasp of SEO principles, including on-page SEO and basic technical SEO.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, BrightEdge, Botify, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical skills for interpreting data and making informed, data-driven decisions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for digital marketing and commitment to staying current on industry trends.
