Responsibilities
-Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility equipment.
-Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
-Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
-Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
-Works collaboratively and professionally with all management and colleagues.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of previous experience in the food/pharmaceutical/plastics industry
- 433a or 442 Industria Millwright or Electrician designation
- Tetra Pak or experience from a Liquid/Beverage industry is considered a big asset
- Strong technical knowledge of conveyor and packaging equipment.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and diagnose plant equipment
