Responsibilities
Responsible for performing day-to-day accounting functions, as well as financial reporting/ analysis to support on-going internal and external reporting requirements, including month-end journal entries. You will also be responsible for preparation and analysis of monthly variances between budget and actual financial results, and presentation of accurate, complete and timely analysis to management to support decision-making
Qualifications
Successfull candidates will posess post-secondary education in Commerce and/or Business Administration specializing in Accounting; as well as possess or in pursuit of a Canadian professional accounting designation (CPA) preferred. They also have a mimimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role; and proven skills in financial statement preparation, analysis and reporting, including understanding of
Canadian GAAP/PSAS requirements. Also, advanced computer skills and superior knowledge of computer applications and database software
application is required in addtion to advances level Excel skills. Billingualism ( French & English) is a strong asset.
