As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the financial planning process, developing, analyzing, and maintaining financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting. You’ll be the person who digs deep into performance trends and metrics while building relationships across the business to communicate financial findings.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager of FP&A, your duties and responsibilities will include;
Financial Planning - Budgeting/Forecasting:
Can you lead budgeting and forecasting processes? You’ll develop templates, educate stakeholders, and push for efficiencies across the business. Your goal will be to consolidate key information into summary reports with actionable insights.
Financial Reporting & Performance Management:
Are you comfortable identifying gaps in financial plans and providing solutions? You’ll support the production of monthly reports and work to highlight areas for cost savings, efficiencies, and increased profitability.
Financial Analysis:
Do you enjoy building financial models and supporting decision-making? You’ll partner with the business to provide analytical support on special projects, ensuring timely and high-quality analysis.
Business Partnering:
Are you someone who can build strong relationships across departments? You’ll provide ad-hoc analysis to enhance understanding of performance, while proactively identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
- University degree is required; an MBA or CPA is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis within a corporate finance team (manufacturing, retail, or wholesale experience preferred).
- Proven track record of problem-solving and process improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
- Expertise in Excel and financial modeling; knowledge of VBA and MS SQL is a plus.
- Logical thinker with the ability to break down complex issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
