A day in the life:
In this exciting role the Senior DevOps Engineer will play a DevOps role to movefrom a legacy on premise system to a cloud solution to support inventory accuracy. You will work closely with Solution Architects, Engineers, and cross functional teams to implement a modern cloud solution with a focus on automation, reliability, security and performance. Your duties include:
•Implementing automation and provisioning solutions in cloud infrastructure to meet business needs and project deliverables
•Setup and implementation of CI/CD processes / pipeline
•Define and implement operations monitoring approach across enterprise systems and their integrations
•Developing and integrating API’s across our enterprise applications
•Implement and adopt SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices across the domain
•Present solutions within the engineering and architecture communities, document and share cloud engineering best practices
•Support other engineers to ensure approach and guidelines are adopted
Qualifications
•8-10+ years experience with key cloud technologies AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, HashiCorp Vault, Kafka, Kubernetes, Containerization (Docker), Apagee, Java or Python
•Experience with APM tools such Dynatrace, App dynamics etc and monitoring tools like Prometheus , Grafana, Splunk etc. across Windows and UNIX platforms
•Experience with day to day tools such as Jira, PagerDuty, ServiceNow is nice to have
•Experience with integrating performance testing / monitoring into CI/CD Pipelines
