As the Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the full accounting cycle, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial statements
- Prepare and manage project cost tracking, billing, and reconciliation of accounts
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Prepare and review budgets and forecasts
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Manage payroll process
- Prepare and submit tax filings and reports
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash management reports
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Analyze financial performance and recommend improvements to enhance profitability and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA would be an asset)
- 7-10 years of accounting experience in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction accounting practices
- Previous experience working with QuickBooks Desktop and Online
- Advanced MS Excel skills
