Responsibilities
•Manage operational support queues and respond to service requests and incidents
•Perform basic triage and assign tickets to Tier 3 specialists as required
•Fulfill service requests related to password resets, access provisioning, and tool access
•Maintain middleware systems using tools like WebSphere, Liberty, and ITCAM
•Develop and implement automation scripts for deployment and maintenance
•Monitor compliance with SLAs and provide regular performance and incident reports
•Support deployment to user test and production environments
•Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and maintain operational documentation
Qualifications
•10+ years of experience in systems and telecommunications, including RedHat Enterprise Linux V7+, UNIX Solaris V10, and Mainframe IMS Connect
•Proficiency with IBM WebSphere Application Server, Liberty, NDM, and IBM DataPower
•Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD concepts (Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes)
•Working knowledge of Remedy/eSMT or similar service management tools
•Experience managing incidents and service requests in an ITIL-aligned environment
•Exposure to scripting, automation, and cloud architecture concepts
•Ability to support performance tuning, backups, clustering, and firewall configurations
