Responsibilities
•Develop and implement technical security architectures for large cross-platform enterprise environments.
•Lead the design and deployment of cloud security solutions, access management, and network security controls.
•Establish and manage security operations tools, including SIEM, endpoint protection, and automated response systems.
•Define security policies and frameworks for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
•Support Agile project delivery, including backlog management, user stories, and sprint planning.
•Create and maintain architecture documentation using frameworks like TOGAF.
•Provide security recommendations for infrastructure, data encryption, and network security.
•Collaborate with teams on firewall policies, secure access solutions, and data security.
•Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards.
•Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to internal teams.
Qualifications
•Advanced knowledge in core security domains, including Identity Access Management, Data Security, Network Security, and Security Operations.
•Expertise in cloud security with experience in at least two cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
•Hands-on experience with security tools, such as Palo Alto Cortex XDR, Azure Sentinel, and Splunk Cloud.
•Experience in Agile project delivery, including Scrum, Sprint Planning, and Backlog Management.
•Strong knowledge of TOGAF and solution design frameworks for security architecture documentation.
•Familiarity with ITIL methodologies for managing secure IT environments.
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work with cross-functional teams.
•Public sector experience is an asset but not required.
