Responsibilities
1. Manage a consolidated project plan and schedule, day to day work of the project team, task assignments, priorities, team deliverables, issues and risks, stakeholder engagement, project communication and project financials.
2. Lead the project team to work effectively and efficiently toward project objectives in a complex and diverse environment with multiple stakeholders and changing priorities to ensure high quality deliverables.
3. Provide regular communication and status updates to the Manager on all aspects of the project. Prepare briefings, presentations and other project documentation for Senior Managers and C Level Executives for the purpose of obtaining approvals.
4. Manage project issues and risks (e.g., identifies, monitors, escalates, resolves, and reports) through the team. Escalate issues to the Manager. Inform the issues logs and risk registers for the overall project, if applicable.
5. Lead, facilitate, coordinate project team meetings. Track action items, decision items, risks and issues that come out of meetings and update the Manager.
6. Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure the objectives of the project are being met.
7. Collaborate with various internal or external service providers/partners to plan/align project dependencies and/or integrate solution components.
8. Define/clarify roles and responsibilities and set deliverables/quality/ performance expectations for project resources.
9. Champion the agile/scrum framework to promote best practices and awareness to the project team, clients and/or stakeholders in order to ensure success.
10. Schedule and facilitate agile/scrum events including but not limited to backlog management, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
11. Direct project teams to ensure project deliverables are delivered based on sprint/project goals and adhere to quality standards.
Qualifications
Must Have:
- 10+ years experience in technology project management, at least 5+ years must include projects that required large technology procurements.
- Demonstrated experience gathering and developing requirements in order to create and maintain project schedules and integrated plans.
- Demonstrated experience using the agile / scrum framework to promote best practices and awareness to the project team, clients and/or stakeholders in order to ensure success.
- Project experience with IAM related projects
- Demonstrated experience scheduling and facilitating agile/scrum events including but not limited to backlog management, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Demonstrated experience with identifying and defining architectural requirements.
- Demonstrated experience with change management.
- Demonstrated experience identifying risks and providing proper mitigation strategies.
- Demonstrated experience managing the implementation of application, infrastructure or migration activities.
- Experience with Change Management and Release Management as processes supporting the implementation of large enterprise applications.
- Experience with ITIL processes such as Service Level Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, and Capacity Management.
