The Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management (EPPM) Adoption project’s goal is to address the Audit recommendations by increasing JTS’ adoption of EPPM to ensure consistent and comprehensive project reporting to provide a clear indication of project status and risks. The Senior Specialized IT Consultant resource will be vital in implementing these recommendations and ensuring that audit deadlines are met.
Scope:
- Promotes OPS I&IT standards and best practices for project management to facilitate control of system quality, adherence to standard methodology and the control of the use of I&IT resources.
- Works in partnership with clients, advising them on information technology to meet their business objectives or overcome problems, work to improve structure and efficiency of an organization’s I&IT systems.
- The I&IT Consultant may be used to provide strategic guidance to organizations about Information Management & IT technology, IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT.
- Provides subject matter expertise in their field and highly expert technical assistance.
- Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their requirements through gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements.

Responsibilities
- Assessing as-is processes, defining to-be processes.
- Developing a change management plan
- Conducting user training, and creating user guides and documentation
- Building EPPM custom BI Dashboard reports
- Analyzes I&IT requirements giving independent and objective advice on the use of I&IT
- Provides subject matter expertise in their field and highly expert technical assistance
- Acts as the technical advisor/expert on all aspects of a specific deliverable
- Provide the quality assurance/quality control of specific deliverables
- Anticipates and resolves problems to ensure that the deliverables are completed within budget, to the highest quality, meeting or exceeding expectations
- Develops processes and procedures for implementing deliverables
- Prepares reports and presentations including options, recommendations, implementation plans, etc.
- The I&IT Consultant may be used to provide strategic guidance to organizations with regard to Information Management & IT technology, IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in developing data visualizations and automated custom reports/dashboards
- At least 5 years of Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management (EPPM) /Planview experience
- At least 10 years of IT experience with change management.
- Experience working with clients in the administration of Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management (EPPM)/ Planview Enterprise and providing end-user support
- Experienced with providing end-user training on the features and functions of various Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management (EPPM)/ Planview modules, customized to the user group – Project Manager, Reporting Manager, Staff
- Familiar with change-management principles and methodology
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices
- Experience in planning, organizing and implementing projects and reporting solutions
