Our client is seeking a fully ticketed Red Seal Millwright for their plant in Delta, BC. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing machinery, working alongside electricians to ensure optimal operation of all equipment.

Straight night shifts: 10 PM to 6 AM, Monday night to Saturday morning, with the option of moving to afternoon shift at a future point.

Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot a variety of machinery, including conveyors, gearboxes, small motors, pressurized pipes, valves, actuators, chain drives, VFDs, pumps, compressors, hydraulics/pneumatics, blowers, and packaging equipment.
Collaborate with electricians to ensure seamless plant operations.
Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure machinery runs efficiently.
Work on night shifts with the possibility of afternoon shifts in the future.
Work as part of a team on upgrade projects, as well as address any critical repairs of automated manufacturing lines
Qualifications
What you bring:
Red Seal certification as a Millwright (mandatory)
Additional 4th class power engineer certification preferred (willing to train the right candidate if not already certified).
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Experience in the food, packaging, or pharmaceutical industries.
Preference for candidates with experience outside oil & gas, sawmill, or mining sectors.
