Responsibilities
- Prepares and posts journal entries for key activities, including deferred charges, rental deposits, straight-line rent, and capital asset depreciation.
- Mentors and supports colleagues, fostering knowledge-sharing and team development.
- Develops enhanced month-end reporting tools and unlocks ERP features to improve system efficiency and performance.
- Optimizes and streamlines ERP processes for better functionality and workflow management.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or similar field of study,
- CPA would be an asset but not required
- 3+ years of experience as a Property Accountant
- Strong skills in Yardi and Excel
