Responsibilities
•Responsible for managing day-to-day project activities of data center build out projects.
•The Project Manager will work closely with technical teams, business and third-party stakeholders to manage expectations related to the project scope and timeline constraints.
•The Project Manager is accountable for the overall delivery of the project and will work with various levels of the organization to ensure project control procedures and policies are adhered to as per technology’s project performance standards.
•Project Management – Outline project goals, terms of reference, resource requirements, and costs. Help create a resource plan that ensures all stakeholders have a voice on the project. Assess the efficiency of the practices and procedures used by a team and provide guidance that will continuously improve the project plan.
•Collaboration – Help internal partners make informed decisions about the development of programs, products, and services. Work closely with teams as you work toward a common goal and negotiate deliverables and milestones whenever necessary.
•Project Coordination – Proactively identify anything that will take projects off schedule and find solutions to correct the problem. Monitor milestones, and ensure they’re completed according to timelines and budgets. Execute a project plan that is personalized for your team’s preferred mix of quality, time, and cost.
•Customer Engagement - You put our customers first. You engage with purpose to find the right solutions. You go the extra mile because its the right thing to do.
•Relationship Building: Grow your network, deepen existing relationships, and collaborate with others to ensure clients are connected to the right people and opportunities.
Qualifications
•PMP designation
•10+ years of project management experience
•5+ years managing complex enterprise networking and infrastructure projects using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
•5+ years of experience in networking, infrastructure or data center operations
•Must demonstrate good organizational and time management skills with the ability to self-manage
•Demonstrated ability to work independently
