-The project engineer will gather and analyze information about materials and labor needed for projects.
-The successful candidate will help assess labor requirement, task delegation and oversee the required team.
-Manage changes in scope including communication to other employees when businesses or clients make changes to project goals and ensuring that all people on the project coordinate their activities.
The position is based in the lower mainland but will report to their team lead in Ottawa. The ability to work with minimal supervision is a must.

Responsibilities
Recording and comparing bids from multiple vendors and subcontractors
Helping design products, manufacturing equipment, or buildings
Finding ways to reduce the costs of equipment and supplies
Creating estimates, bills, and invoices, and receiving payments from customers
Preparing schedules to let customers and employees know how long projects will take
Making reports about expenses for the duration of the project
Visiting job sites and completing performance reviews for employees and contractors working on the project
Qualifications
-Track record of self directed work
-Bach. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience will be considered
-Ability to work cross functionally with other disciplines
-Client facing experience as a Project Engineer.
-HVAC experience is an asset
