Responsibilities
Handle project-based billing for the firm’s diverse clientele, managing a high volume of approximately 1,000 invoices per month across 700 clients.
Utilize QuickBooks Online and Clio (legal billing software) to process invoices and maintain records accurately.
Perform detailed financial reconciliations, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs in Excel, to ensure data accuracy.
Coordinate with attorneys and clients to resolve billing discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
Collaborate with the accounting team to enhance billing processes and contribute to financial reporting.
Uphold excellent client service standards in all billing-related communications.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in a law firm or accounting firm with project-based billing.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and billing software such as QuickBooks Online and Clio is required.
Volume Management: Proven ability to manage high-volume billing processes.
Language Skills: Fully bilingual (English and French) to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Education: Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is an asset.
