This full-time position (40 hours per week) is based in Vancouver, BC, on a hybrid schedule. Candidates must be located in British Columbia and available immediately to meet the on-site requirements.

Responsibilities
•Manage all financial aspects of assigned projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
•Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
•Track and report on project costs, revenues, and profitability.
•Process and review invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports related to projects.
•Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
•Prepare project-specific financial reports for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and insights.
•Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes related to projects.
•Support audits and compliance reviews as needed.
Qualifications
•3+ years of experience in project accounting, preferably within the environmental sector
•Proficiency with Quickbooks Online QBO
•Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis.
•Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
•Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly and effectively.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions like pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
