Duties include dealing with the clients and customers in person and on the phone, filing faxing and data entry. Must be confident with Accounts payable/receivable.
Training will be provided but 2 years of administration experience is essential.

Responsibilities
Scan prescriptions into the pharmacy software system
Create and maintain numerical prescription files and storage
Replenish and reorder pharmacy and office supplies
Prepare and process billings, claims, disbursements and related documents;
Answer the telephone and direct calls to the appropriate team member
Assist in pharmacy and sterile room cleanliness
Handle incoming and outgoing mail (including inter-office)
Retrieve prescription hardcopies as required for audit purposes
Create and maintain files for invoices, packing slips and other documentation
Assist patients picking up prescriptions;
Process credit card payments using online software and/or hardware
Liaise with courier representatives to track packages and resolve delivery issues
Create shipping waybills using courier software systems
Select, assemble and pack the correct shipping container for a given drug product
Liaise with warehouse personnel to replenish shipping supplies
Assist couriers with outgoing deliveries to ensure all deliveries are picked up
The Pharmacy Administrative Assistant will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent experience;
Proficiency in Kroll an asset;
Working knowledge of pharmacy operations; Previous pharmacy experience an asset;
1-2 years administrative experience an asset;
