We are looking for an experienced payroll specialist to join our client's team. The incumbent will play a central role in the processing and management of payroll for a dynamic organization. Working closely with various departments, including operations and event management, you will help ensure accurate and compliant payroll for all employees. This full-time position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to participate in stimulating and innovative projects.
Advantages
Vacation: 3 weeks vacation and 5 floating days, with a 2-week holiday closure.

Pension plan (RRSP): 2% employee contribution and 6% employer contribution after 6 months.

Responsibilities
Manage and produce payroll according to established cycles.
Administer employee files and perform various calculations, such as retroactivity and special payments.
Respond to requests from employees, managers and external organizations regarding payroll-related data.
Verify and correct timesheets in accordance with labor standards.
Collaborate in the creation of management reports, including general ledger entries, and participate in the preparation of the annual audit file.
Prepare records of employment and ensure data compliance and integrity.
Manage aspects relating to group insurance, CNESST files and union contributions.
Actively participate in the optimization of processes related to the implementation of payroll systems.
Interpret collective agreements to ensure accurate application of terms and conditions.
Contribute to the year-end process (T4/T4A, Relevé 1).
Qualifications
DEC in accounting or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Expertise in payroll management covered by collective agreements.
Working knowledge of payroll software (Ceridian, ADP-PCPW, Employeur-D) - a major asset.
Proficiency in the Office suite, with an intermediate level in Excel.
Canadian Payroll Association (C.P.A.) certification.
Strong organizational skills, rigor and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Analytical mindset and autonomy.
Excellent communication skills, in French and English.
