Randstad's client is seeking a talented Payroll Administrator to join their Finance and Administration team in Victoria, BC.

Advantages
• Salary range of $62,000 to $67,000 (Depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday
• Hours 8:30am-4:30pm
• Full-time, permanent employment with a supportive team

Responsibilities
• Process bi-weekly payroll and issue required documents (e.g., T4, T4A, Record of Employment)
• Remit payroll deductions to relevant agencies
• Administer employee benefits (pensions, LTD, WorkSafeBC)
• Maintain personnel records and process contracts
• Manage salary data and ensure grid/FTE alignment
• Handle payroll and benefits inquiries confidentially
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and report
• Review and process timecard entries
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• 5+ years of payroll and benefits experience
• Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification or similar
• Experience in education or unionized sectors
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and payroll software
• Detail-oriented with experience handling sensitive information
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations
