Responsibilities
✔ Support mortgage discharge maintenance tasks
✔Process solicitor requests for mortgage statements
✔ Perform data entry into the mortgage tool
✔Maintain and update the security library
✔Collect and apply interest owed payments
✔ Close mortgage accounts and perform manual accounting tasks
✔ Transfer funds & balance GL accounts
✔ Ensure systems are up to date with accurate data
Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:
✔ Bilingual (English & French) – strong verbal & written communication
✔ Proficiency in Outlook and troubleshooting skills
✔ At least 2 years of data entry experience – accuracy and attention to detail are key!
✔ Experience in banking, financial institutions, or bookkeeping
✔ Strong customer service skills – ability to work under SLAs
✔ Team player who is reliable and detail-oriented
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
✔ Background in real estate
✔ Legal background or law students looking to gain financial experience
Summary
Bilingual French/English is required due to covering a territory that spans beyond Quebec and which requires communication with customers and clients who do not speak French.
