In this role, you will lead the setup of four new OpenShift clusters on Azure for the first time, with full involvement in pipelining, design, and integration processes. You’ll also participate in additional AKS-related work to optimize cloud performance.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build OpenShift clusters (Version 4.x) for enterprise environments.
Configure and deploy robust, scalable OpenShift clusters, including governance and usage strategy.
Assist with the entire setup process—from design through to full deployment.
Define multiple network topologies within OpenShift clusters.
Integrate OpenShift with third-party tools, such as GitLab, Artifactory, and Satellite.
Configure load balancers (e.g., HAProxy, F5) for optimized cluster performance.
Develop and implement an upgrade strategy for OpenShift environments.
Collaborate on DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments (Azure Kubernetes Service).
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in setting up and managing OpenShift environments in real production and enterprise environments (OpenShift v4.x).
Strong background in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, with GitLab experience.
Familiarity with load balancer configuration, including HAProxy and F5.
Experience deploying on cloud platforms (Red Hat and AKS).
Preferred Experience:
Experience in financial services (nice to have but not required).
