A leading studio in Victoria, BC is looking for a passionate Senior Marketing Specialist to support player engagement and retention strategies for a one-year maternity contract, with the potential for extension to a permanent role. In this position, the specialist will create campaigns aimed at activating, engaging, retaining, cross-selling, and increasing customer lifetime value for a portfolio of successful mobile games. This role involves developing lifecycle-based communication programs targeting player segments across email, mobile, and social media, as well as assessing performance and optimizing campaigns. Collaborating with internal teams to navigate strategy and execution will be essential.
**Salary Range:** $75,000 - $95,000 CAD annually
*Exact compensation will be based on skills and experience.*
**Key Activities and Deliverables:**
- Leverage the CRM platform to develop cross-channel customer journeys (email, push, in-app messaging, social media) using user segmentation and dynamic/triggered messaging to optimize campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to develop and implement lifecycle campaigns, including campaign planning/design, targeting, list management, campaign health monitoring, and post-campaign analysis.
- Work with the Data Analytics team to create reporting that measures campaign effectiveness and channel-level impact.
**Qualified Candidates Will Have:**
- 3+ years of CRM/direct marketing experience in a multi-faceted and creative environment.
- Experience with a major Customer Engagement platform.
- Experience in planning and executing multi-channel direct marketing CRM programs, including social media, email, mobile push, and in-app messaging.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent project management skills with a proactive approach to achieving goals, on-time delivery, and operational excellence.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
**Preferred Candidates Will Have:**
- Experience in mobile gaming or lifecycle-based businesses.
- Familiarity with Leanplum/Clevertap.
- Experience with A/B and multivariate testing.
