Maintenance Millwright - $39 to $41 per hour - SE Calgary

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company specializing in high-quality polymer solutions, is looking for an experienced Millwright to join their maintenance team. This role offers long-term stability, opportunities to mentor apprentices, and the potential to step into a leadership role.
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Location: SE Calgary, AB
Schedule: Monday – Friday, daytime shift
Wage: $39 to $41 per hour (based on experience and certification)

Responsibilities
What a normal day will look like:
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Install, repair, and modify hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Operate shop machinery (lathe, drill press, grinders, band saws, welders, etc.).
- Use hand and pneumatic tools for equipment modifications and repairs.
- Complete work orders, document maintenance tasks, and assist with inventory management.
- Research and source parts, supplies, and machines needed for repairs.
- Operate forklifts and hydraulic work platforms as required.
Qualifications
What do you need for this position?
- Journeyperson Millwright certification with strong knowledge of mechanical systems (gearboxes, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.)
- 2-4 years in experience in industrial maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting AC/DC drives, machine controls, and instrumentation.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with SAP for maintenance tracking.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Willingness to work overtime and be on-call for emergency repairs.
- Strong initiative, reliability, and teamwork mindset.
