Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor machines used in the manufacturing process.
Ensure smooth operation of machinery by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
Monitor production output and perform quality checks to meet required specifications.
Report any machine malfunctions or production delays to supervisors promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and objectives.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in manufacturing or machine operation is a plus.
Prior 1+ experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot machines.
Knowledge of and experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in machine operation and maintenance.
Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for ensuring product specifications and quality.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and standard operating procedures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including shift work or overtime as needed.
Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
