Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Hourly Wage: $18.50
As assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and mounting electrical components as well as lifting of parts, power tool usage .

You will also be required to test the prepared products and prepare them for final inspection.
To be successful in this position you will have a strong mechanical aptitude as well as above-average attention to detail. This location is a large manufacturing and distribution company with room for growth.
This is a contract position with the opportunity to turn into a long term permanent position.

Responsibilities
- assemble products based on oral and/or written instructions (from Computer program)
- follow established procedures
- perform routine maintenance on equipment
- maintain high quality standards by inspecting and testing products
- prepare finished products for shipment
- daily use of hand tools and measurement devices
- work in a diverse and busy team environment
- lift 35lbs repetitively at times
- work in a fast paced manner using a proactive approach
- work in a warehouse setting picking and packing orders
- utilize reach trucks to move product through warehouse; load and unload trucks
- comfortable with Electrical diagrams/drawings
Qualifications
- Previous work experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
- Hand tools experience
- Ability to handle heavy lifting 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
Please note this work location is not transit accessible and your own transportation is a must
- Safety boot
