e Director of Sales and Business Development well-informed of progress, discrepancies, questions, and any impacts on project plans and schedules. They assist with the overall project performance, including the management of costs and scheduling while maintaining excellent relationships with trades, subcontractors, and clients. A minimal expectation of 25% travel is required. This can increase due to amount of projects in progress. Travel would be primarily across the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta.

Responsibilities
- Provide project management support to the Operations team and coordinate daily activities on various projects
- Participate in tender review; assists in the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for modular/off-site construction tender bids based on drawings, quotations and SOW specifications.
- Manage inventory of assets and supplies, sourcing for suppliers/vendors, and material procurement when required
- Learn to provide clear detailed quantity take offs; verify job site quantities.
- Organize sub-contractors’ quotations.
- Understand all safety and environmental aspects on projects and at worksites.
- Manage Subcontractors, outline expectations, scheduling information and track productivity.
- Monitor project costs and provides feedback to Operations and Sales/Estimating departments for presentation to senior management.
- Assist in managing documents, files, and databases.
- Other job-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience working in the General Contracting industry and/or Field Operations would be considered an asset
- Experience with estimating techniques, tendering process and negotiating contracts would be considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret construction related documents including plans, specifications, and other technical material
- Strong working knowledge of GSuite and Microsoft applications
- Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with project team, subtrades, consultants and client
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, strong math skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills
- Sense of urgency, flexibility, and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in challenging, fast paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude
- Project management: 1 year (preferred)
