Responsibilities
Here are the responsibilities for this IT Network Specialist - Palo Alto - Cisco at this leader in the aerospace in Ville Saint-Laurent;
• Contribute to the upkeep of the network infrastructure and network services for the global enterprise
• Improve network solutions and related processes applicable to LAN, WAN, SDWAN
• Coordinate services and monitoring to prioritize and ensure high network availability and performance
• Contribute to the planning and support of network security as well as the administration of enterprise firewalls
• Support periodic operational activities such as enterprise disaster recovery planning and testing as well as ongoing improvement initiatives
• Network hardware physical installation, as router, switch, etc.
• Share knowledge with team
Qualifications
Here are the qualifications required for this IT Network Specialist - Palo Alto - Cisco at this leader in the aerospace in Ville Saint-Laurent;
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English, French
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Collaborates well in a team environment
• Autonomous – comfortable exercising independent judgment in performing job duties
• Ability to interface with IT users (IT administrators and customers) at all levels
Technical skills:
• Excellent knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls, Layer 2/3 Switches
• Excellent Network skills with LAN, WAN and Core networks
• Experience with physical infrastructure planning is an asset (cabling, fiber vaults, etc.)
• Bachelor’s in Computer Technology or equivalent with 3 years of experience in Networking
• Palo Alto / Cisco Certifications are an asset
