Ideal candidates will have 3-5+ years experience with full cycle accounting, knowledge of MS Dynamics and the ability to work on-site 3x per week.

Responsibilities
Responsible for journal entry preparation and month end close activities.
Prepare and maintain account and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring assigned assets and liabilities are fairly stated.
Perform bank reconciliations of the CAD and USD bank accounts
Maintain the fixed asset subledger
In coordination with the General Accounting Manager, prepare variance analysis for assigned cost centres (actual vs. budget and actual vs. forecast) and investigate and resolve discrepancies with department managers.
Provide support with preparation of financial statement working papers, analysis and commentary.
Coordinate assigned aspects of financial reporting, developing a sound understanding of overall business operations, underlying areas of GAAP and budget assumptions, ensuring results are fairly stated and can be clearly explained.
Effectively liaise and provide day to day accounting support to assigned business units. In coordination with General Accounting Manager, deliver financial reporting and analysis for assigned business units.
Qualifications
Min. 3-5 years of Accounting experience
MS Dynamics experience preferred
Strong communication skills and great attention to detail
Post secondary education in Finance & Accounting
