Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve issues related to motors, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
Possess strong expertise in mechanical, electrical, and process controls, with the ability to troubleshoot various equipment and technical issues.
Regularly inspect equipment and operating systems, taking corrective actions when necessary.
Maintain high-quality mechanical operations, standards, and controls at all times.
Provide advanced technical support and guidance to junior technicians.
Demonstrate proficiency in both team collaboration and independent work.
Follow and uphold company safety protocols and procedures.
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance according to established standards.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment effectively.
Execute welding and cutting tasks as required.
Complete repairs and work orders within designated timelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across a variety of systems, including PLCs, servo motors, motor controls, vision systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and other related technologies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Demonstrate excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills to succeed in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail to meet daily objectives and goals.
Comply with company health and safety standards.
Qualifications
Must be available to work overtime as needed.
Must be a self-starter, work well with all levels, and be well organized.
Must be able to operate man lifts and fork trucks.
Good physical condition- must be able to lift 50lbs
Must have 8000 hours and a certificate preferred
Proficiency in electrical systems, logic controllers, and industrial electrician work
Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role
Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and equipment
Familiarity with welding techniques and boiler operations
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
