Responsibilities
- Provides electrical/mechanical support to all departments within the facility and assist in installation of new equipment's
- Understand and practice proactive maintenance and contribute to correcting problems before they become downtime issues
- Ensure equipment is operating, designed, and installed to required GMP standards
- Troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical breakdown in the production process
- Prevent premature breakdown of the equipment and operate the facility through continual preventative maintenance
- Ensure a safe work environment and Ensure the facility meets all required electrical codes
- Use SAP system for work capture, parts, sign out, parts lookup, confirming the time
- Provide accurate shift reports detailing parts used, downtime, and Root cause analyses
- Assist in the ordering of electrical components and maintaining the inventory of critical electrical parts
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Knowledge of PLC's (AB/Siemens) Programming, data collection, and troubleshooting of PLCs.
- Industrial Electrician 442A or Construction and Maintenance Electrician 309A required.
- A certificate in Programmable Logic Control is considered an asset
- Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity - detail-oriented
- Tenacious, excellent communication and organizational skill
