Responsibilities
Provide strategic partnership to the Canadian Retail organization with a focus on employee engagement, leadership development, and talent management
Partner with the US HR team to build best practices, including talent planning, organizational design, and talent acquisition
Oversee Total Rewards programs for the Canadian employee population, including communications, vendor partnerships, and absence management
Maintain knowledge of provincial and federal employment requirements and best practices, ensuring regulatory compliance
Serve as a primary business partner for retail employees in Canada (70%) and manage Total Rewards programs for teams (30%)
Qualifications
Proven track record in HR leadership with a strong understanding of talent management, engagement, leadership development, and total rewards
Experience in a global retail organization providing Canada country-level support is preferred
Demonstrated ability to partner strategically with business leaders to build successful culture and achieve common goals
Experience with building and supporting Total Rewards programs
Bachelor's degree and HR certification preferred
Solid experience in Employee Relations and Performance Management, with knowledge of Canadian employment laws (multi-province)
HR experience in compensation and benefits, and retail experience
