Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain occupational health and safety (OHS) programs.
Conduct risk assessments and implement hazard control measures.
Provide training and educational materials to promote safety awareness.
Investigate incidents and near misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with OHS regulations and environmental standards.
Perform regular safety inspections and address potential hazards.
Manage specialized programs, including ergonomics, hearing conservation, and heat stress.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training sessions.
Foster a culture of safety through communication and collaboration with teams.
Drive continuous improvement by evaluating and enhancing OHS initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of OHS/EHS experience in logistics, auto/ manufacturing. industrial, pharmaceutical
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Well versed with Labor laws, proceedings, etc
