Join a dynamic team in the metal fabrication industry, located in the East end. We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join us as a General Laborer specializing in deburring and grinding metal materials.
Location: Near the Ottawa Airport
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

This is a contract role up to 4 weeks (with a possibility of extension depending on your performance and the business needs)
We need this role filled ASAP
Advantages

Opportunity to be crossed trained in the various areas of the machine shop
Responsibilities
Perform deburring and grinding tasks on metal materials according to specifications.
Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Assist with other general labor duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience with metal deburring and grinding preferred but not required.
Experience working in a machine shop is an ASSET
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Physically able to lift and maneuver heavy objects.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
