The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with GAAP . The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial principles.

Responsibilities
-Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
-Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
-Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes as well as month end activities
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data.
-Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
-Stay updated on changes in IFRS and other relevant financial regulations.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
-Bilingual for discussions with other provinces/countries
-3+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting or Big 4 profile.
-Proficient in Excel (power BI a plus)
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Strong attention to detail
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
-CPA designation is a plus.
-Experience with public accounting
