Permanent Position
Hours: Monday to Friday daytime hours (avg 200 hours of OT per year)
Salary: $45- $48/hr (based on certification and experience)

Responsibilities
As a Field Service Technician reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, a normal day would include:
- Develop and manage predictive and preventative maintenance programs for installed-based customers.
- Perform site investigation, equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of power distribution, control, and automation systems.
- Build, develop, and maintain exemplary customer and vendor relationships while maintaining a high level of quality and technical service.
- Adhere to written standard testing and maintenance procedures for breaker, switchgear, relay, control, and automation equipment testing.
- Support Technical Training programs for customers, partners, and employees on new and existing products.
- Ability to track and submit field reports and expenses in a timely manner.
Qualifications
What do you need for this position?
- Valid Canadian passport and ability to travel freely between Canada and US.
- Ticketed Industrial Electrician or NETA/NICET Certified (ETT Level II or higher) in electrical equipment testing.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in preventative and predictive maintenance of power distribution and control equipment or equivalent education and experience.
- Basic understanding and ability to interpret detailed electrical schematics & mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of applicable health, safety, and electrical (CSA/NFPA/UL) regulatory codes and standards.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Prefer OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E training.
- 50% Travel required
