Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this Fabrication Welder Lead Hand
- MIG and STICK core experience
- Installation of structural steel components
- Custom fabrication and fitting
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings
- supervision of team
- Ensure that all assemblies are correctly fitted as per issued fabrication drawings.
- Ensure that correct welding procedures are being utilized by the welders.
- Being comfortable working outside all year round
Qualifications
What does this Fabrication Supervisor role require?
- 10 to 12 years of experience in custom fabrication and fitting
- Previous experience in the installation of structural steel components
- Proven Supervision experience leading a team of 5-10 metal fabrication staff
- Strong knowledge on interpreting Engineered drawings
- Knowledge of related fabrication and welding processes and safety standards
- CWB-certified MIG and STICK ( all positions)
- Driving license with a clear abstract
