Responsibilities
- Coordinate the deadlines for all deliveries as well as the movement of products on the dock, particularly regarding the preparation of deliveries.
- Promotes compliance and maintains an excellent understanding of all relevant policies and internal procedures as well as of all regulatory requirements and external guidelines relating thereto.
- Manage the distribution center inventory and submit on a timely manner the report.
- Examine and resolve operational problems, for example regarding security and service in collaboration with all the actors concerned.
- Always ensure proper storage conditions for products, including maintaining VAISALA temperature monitoring system.
- Adhere to all security procedures and oversee the security management of equipment.
- Contribute to projects and audits of the distribution center.
- Adhere to safe work practices.
- May work overtime to achieve the objective of the service to our customers.
Qualifications
- Bilingualism
- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Experience in an autonomous position (has worked under minimal supervision)
- Excellent organizational skills and proven leadership
- Multi-tasking experience and ability to prioritize the needs of internal and external customers and suppliers
- Lift truck license
- Knowledge of GMP and assets
- Transport certification of dangerous goods (Class 7)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook and Excel)
- Ability to lift loads up to 23kg (50 lbs)
