Responsibilities
Your Impact in This Role
As a Dental Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for the detailed examination of dental claims, ensuring accurate and timely processing while providing expert analysis on complex cases. Your role will contribute to efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction within our claims processing operations.
In this role, you will:
Review and assess complex dental claims and estimates, ensuring completeness and accuracy
Analyze dental supporting documents to make informed adjudication decisions
Communicate effectively with clients to gather additional details when needed
Work closely with the Dental Consultant and internal teams to resolve complex cases
Meet productivity and quality standards to maintain service excellence
Handle external and internal inquiries through written correspondence, emails, and phone interactions
Participate in departmental projects aimed at improving processes and efficiency
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Role
Education: Diploma in Dental Hygiene (CEGEP/College or University)
Experience: Prior experience working in a dental clinic
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Group Insurance and Dental Claims processing
Skills & Attributes:
Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Customer service-oriented mindset
Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
Team player with a collaborative approach
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Open to receiving and giving feedback for continuous improvement
Bilingualism (French & English) is required to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients across Canada. flexibility with English only
