Responsibilities
Database Administration:
Support IT Financial Planning & Analysis processes in Hyperion/Essbase and eventually Oracle Freeform application by maintaining application as well as troubleshoot issues and provide direction on appropriate resolution.
Oversee data and metadata integration processes from CA PPM Clarity into cube to ensure seamless flow of financial data and manage ETL -Extract, Transform and Load- process for month end, year end and budget.
Resolve problems with data quality issues through independent assessment and applying logical framework.
Support annual budget planning exercise, managing regular budget updates on a timely basis while adapting the Hyperion/Freeform application as needed for future budget requirements.
Help ensure CA PPM Clarity data quality and related PM/PCO processes are consistent with the needs of IT Planning and the budget management process
Support: Oversee maintenance and regular updates of cube
Pre-Migration preparation: Collaborate with the migration team to ensure the Oracle Freeform environment is prepared and optimized for the upcoming migration from Oracle Hyperion.
Post Migration Support: Ensure the Oracle Freeform system is fully operational and optimized following the migration. Address any post-migration issues and assist in system stabilization.
System optimization: Adapt application as needed to change organizational requirements, including updates to Forms, Reports, Business Rules, Calculation Scripts, Attribute Dimensions, Substitution Variables, etc.
Financial Acumen:
Solid understanding of financial concepts, reporting, and analysis.
Experience working with finance teams to develop and implement financial reporting solutions.
Reporting: Prepare analyses and reports using Power BI, MS Excel, Smart View and Oracle Essbase
Processes: Contribute to process automation using Power BI, Excel / VBA / Macros, Essbase retrievals or other tools.
Documentation: Documenting monthly job processes and making recommendations for process improvements
Training and Support: Deliver onboarding training as well as day to day support in IT Financial Planning & Analysis processes
Qualifications
Exigences minimum/ Minimum requirements:
- Basic Experience with Essbase Reporting and/or Oracle Freeform is a requirement
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a requirement
- Effective communication skills and the ability to adapt communication to a wide audience
- Langues parlées et écrites / Languages spoken and written: Bilingual or anglophone
- Attention to detail and quality is essential
- Customer-oriented and the ability to deal effectively with multiple demands
Asset :
- Minimum 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in managing and updating on premise Oracle Hyperion and/or Oracle Freeform application
- Basic Knowledge and understanding of best practices surrounding designs, tests, and implementation of Hyperion application and/or Oracle Freeform changes.
- Experience using CA PPM Clarity and Power BI is recommended
- Familiarity with agile work processes is an asset
