Responsibilities
- Provide customs technical support by maintaining client databases and reducing exposure to non-compliance for all parties involved
- Reduce transactional errors
- Handle client disputes and resolve them
- Auditing and reviewing B3 documents of all internal customs raters as well as the freight department
- Ensure the accuracy of information needed to clear a given shipment
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in the Customs Brokerage industry
- College Diploma in International Transportation & Customs or related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Canadian customs regulations & trade processes and programs
- Experience in CargoWise One system or related brokerage systems is considered an asset
- CCS, CTCS, LCB designations are preferred
