Responsibilities
- Prepare corporate documents for BC and federal entities (incorporations, name changes, amalgamations, dissolutions).
- Assist with tax-driven transactions, including rollovers, share exchanges, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Handle filings for partnerships, limited partnerships, and extra-provincial registrations across Canada.
- Manage share transactions, such as redemptions, repurchases, and share structure changes.
- Conduct records book reviews and address any deficiencies.
Qualifications
- 8+ years’ experience as a Corporate Paralegal.
- Completion of a Paralegal program is an asset.
- Strong document drafting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
