Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Corporate Controller are:
- Review monthly financial statements and prepare consolidated financial statements and reports for management.
- Supervise assistant controller and validate reliability of documents transmitted to external parties
- Verification of audit files
- Prepare reports for external stakeholders
- Validate calls for or disbursement of funds
- Manage banking relations
- Preparation of budgets / Cash flow forecasts
- Process improvement
- Ad hoc projects
Qualifications
The qualifications for this role of Corporate Controller are as follows
- CPA
- minimum 7 years' experience in an accounting firm or in a financial controller role in a small or medium-sized company.
- Knowledge of IFRS an asset
- French-speaking environment, but external parties require professional English
- Thoroughness, attention to detail and interpersonal skills describe you perfectly!
