In this Collections Supervisor role in Mississauga, you will hold the following responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the collections team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the collections process.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of collections agents, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Handle escalated collections cases and negotiate payment plans with delinquent accounts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to debt collection.
- Prepare and analyze collections reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and customer service issues.
- Maintain accurate records of collections activities and customer interactions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance collections performance.
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations affecting collections practices.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this Collections Supervisor role in Mississauga, you will need the following qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in high-volume B2B collections for large, complex corporations.
- Must have leadership experience managing multiple direct reports.
- Experience with major ERP systems including Oracle is a great asset.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
