The material handler will be responsible to process inbound, outbound and internal material for Eaton’s Satellite, Customer and site orders.
In this position you will receive and inspect all incoming materials for warehouse and Work-in-Process (WIP) while maintaining Eaton’s WIP database. In addition, the material handler will pack, weigh and load trucks for all outbound materials. You will maintain balances and on-hand accuracy for the warehouse.

Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm
Must have a valid lift truck license with minimum 3 years experience.

Responsibilities
In this function you will:
• Unload and receive material accurately using the Oracle system.
• Pick and count material of various weights and sizes accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Package and load material to ensure end-user satisfaction.
• Support and assist team members with various tasks throughout the warehouse.
• Operate lift equipment safely to move material in and out of high bay racking and around the plant. Material Handlers will drive a variety of machinery including counterbalance, reach truck and order picker.
• Perform cycle counts and audits where required.
• Work with management team and coworkers to create a safety first and continuous improvement culture.
• Solve routine warehouse problems.
• Pick, pack, move, put away, wrap and load skids of various dimensions and weights.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Must have completed a high-school diploma or equivalent education from an accredited institution.
- Must be able to operate a Raymond reach, counterbalance, cherry picker, tow motor/lift truck, with 5 years experience minimum (Truck usage will be 40-50%)
- Must also have a fall arrest forklift certification
- Intermediate computer skills including MS Office and database management
• No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within 80km of Milton to be considered.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with no sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience with order picker or working at elevated heights with valid up to date certificate.
• exposure to inventory software.
Position Criteria:
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced/changing environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work within teams/groups and work with all levels of the organization.
• Good PC skills, including MS Outlook and the use of RF Scanners.
• Effective time management.
