Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to define solutions for Oracle RMS.
Configure and optimize Oracle RMS to meet business needs, including inventory management, pricing, and purchase order management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless system integration and data flow.
Conduct functional and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Oracle RMS users, ensuring smooth system operations.
Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to end-users to improve their understanding and usage of Oracle RMS.
Analyze data from Oracle RMS to generate actionable insights for business decision-making, such as inventory optimization and sales performance.
Assist with the development and documentation of business processes related to Oracle RMS.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding data governance and security in the use of Oracle RMS.
Support system upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations to maintain system relevance and efficiency.
Work with stakeholders to define key metrics and performance indicators, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Oracle RMS, recommending improvements as needed to enhance retail operations.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a business analyst, with a focus on Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
Strong understanding of retail business operations, including inventory management, pricing, assortment planning, and demand forecasting.
Expertise in Oracle RMS modules such as Inventory Management, Purchase Order Management, and Pricing.
Proficiency in system configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting within Oracle RMS.
Experience with system integrations and working with cross-functional IT teams.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and system solutions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insights from data to improve business processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including business users and IT teams.
Experience in system testing, including functional and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Knowledge of fashion retail industry trends, challenges, and technology innovations.
Ability to create detailed documentation, training materials, and user guides.
Proactive problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
