Responsibilities
Here are the responsibilities for this Audio Visual Event Producer at this leader in pharmaceutical in Ville Saint-Laurent;
Collaborate with internal clients/Corporate Communications to design, plan, and execute digital events, including:
Consulting on and designing the systems and components needed to operate meetings and achieve clients’ objectives. Advising clients on the best solutions for their needs.
Planning the setup, registration, execution, and post-event analysis of digital events.
Communicating effectively to explain services to primarily non-technical clients.
Creating and executing project plans, revising them as needed to adapt to changing requirements.
Troubleshooting to address end-user needs and escalating when necessary.
Maintaining, setting up, operating, and striking event equipment (video switchers/encoders, cameras, lighting, and audio). Managing equipment inventory in dedicated venue locations.
Consistently delivering high-quality services to clients.
Serving in a dual role as Technical Director and Co-Producer to oversee events.
Providing event and technical direction: webcast administration, monitoring, and recording using a production/broadcast switcher.
Booking and managing technical crews and external vendors before, during, and after productions.
Collaborating with colleagues (e.g., IT teams) to optimize digital event technology within conference centers and at the enterprise level.
Keeping up with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously improving processes.
Data Collection and Reporting
Collecting and analyzing key statistics for digital events.
Leveraging tools to measure and report on key metrics (e.g., adoption, experience).
Aggregating metrics across events to provide benchmarking statistics.
Technical Support and Maintenance
Managing the technical support lifecycle and assessing risks throughout support planning and delivery.
Drafting and adhering to SOP documents, including completing detailed event reports (After-Action Reviews with post-event analysis and statistics).
Administering the internal video portal, setting up and monitoring channels while ensuring appropriate permissions are in place to secure confidential content.
Ensuring all technology is in a constant state of readiness for conference center events.
Providing audiovisual (A/V) support for events in conference centers.
Maintaining A/V systems and equipment in partnership with vendors to ensure functionality.
Supporting executive-level events with meeting kick-offs and in-room technical assistance.
Monitoring video conferencing calls for end-user events as needed.
Continuous Improvement
Performing regular Q/A testing, software updates, system maintenance, and backups.
Maintaining accurate asset inventory.
Qualifications
Here are the qualifications required for this Audio Visual Event Producer at this leader in pharmaceutical in Ville Saint-Laurent;
Experience: 3–5+ years in digital event management and/or a technical field (e.g., broadcast television).
Education: ACS, DCS or DVS in Audio Visual, Cinema, Electronics Technology , or equivalent professional experience.
Critical Skills
Working knowledge of production video switchers (TriCaster or equivalent).
Proficiency in Mac and PC platforms; experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
Strong understanding and experience in event AV, live event production planning, and webcasting/virtual event technologies.
Experience managing portals (e.g., video portals) or similar technologies.
Superior project management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with internal/external clients.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to bridge technical solutions with business objectives.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to perform well under high-pressure, live event situations. Focused, organized, and effective in stressful environments.
Comfort interacting with executives and presenters.
